I'm a freelance writer and editor based in Los Angeles, California (but I'm originally from Tokyo, Japan). I am a dilettante, night owl, salad junkie, and champion of the Oxford comma.
I got my start in tech — specifically, consumer tech — but I cover just about everything, from hardware reviews to digital copyright law to fitness to sex and relationships. I’m a lifelong freelancer, but I’m also currently a senior editor at Tom’s Hardware. I have bachelor’s degrees in journalism and cinema studies from New York University.
